Happy Teachers Day!!!

Mitti ka ik dher tha
Na koi roop na singaar
Na koi naqsh na nigaar
Sanbhala jis ko aap ne
Dhaala jis ko aap ne
Khayalaat ko goondha
Kirdaar ko sanwara
Alfaaz ko tarasha
Aap ho...
Woh samay ka pahiya
Jispe meine yeh safar kia
Jis ne di zindagi ko raftaar
Jis ne ilm dia beshumaar
Yeh mera roop...
Khayalon ka naqsh o nigaar
Aap hi ka aks hai
Aap ka mamnoon hun
Aap jo mohsin baney
Mitti ke ik dher ko
Bartan banaya aap ne
Zindagi Allah ne di
Insaan banaya aap ne..!

Neend palkon tak aake laut jaati hai..!

Ajab safar hai yeh khilaon ka
Ek jumood hai khayaalon ka
Zeest se toote, ruh se bezaar
Lamha lamha hai koi aazaar
Jis simt bhi soch jaati hai
Baazgashton se ghabra jaati hai
Uff yeh khoonrez tasadum
Uff yeh toofaan o talatum
Bahut aasebi utaaq ke koney
Khauf zadah firaaq ke roney
Ajeeb dastoor hai ajeeb hai manshoor
Kaisi hai duniya kya batayein huzoor
Uski zulfon ke geet gaati hai
Apne mann ki faqat chalati hai
Bemurravat o be sibaat hoti hai
Jab uske aanchal ki baat hoti hai
Huqooq-e-niswaan ki baat karte hain
Khud hi pa-maal bhi toh karte hain
Nazar karti hai ta-kub kawakib ka
Pet bharta nahin dil-e-raaghib ka
Usne bahut pyaar se kaha tha abhi
Raat kaafi hai tum bhi so jao abhi
Dil-e-nadaan ko kaun samajhaye
Shabgazeedah yeh kaise so jaaye

Abhi khwaabon ki taabeer baaqi hai
Abhi imarat ki taameer baaqi hai
Ek zanjeer baandhe rakhti hai
Ek uljhan si rokey rakhti hai
Zeest andheron mein chot khaati hai
Neend palkon tak aake laut jaati hai..!

Wireless

Have you ever thought to have access to all kinds of information e-mail, databases, news, stock quotes, and company reports from your car, without a desktop computer? Wireless technology makes this possible. We are already beginning to see such applications. Wireless Technologies are for people who are always on the move and yet want to stay connected.

Today, whether we are at home or away, inexpensive wireless connections have made life easier. The wireless connectivity either through mobile phone usage or by high speed broadband internet connections has become an integral part of the urban middle, upper middle and higher class’s life.

It is hard to live with a dial-up Internet connection these days with the image and file sharing websites growing in popularity more and more. Even if one lives in a remote area, there are ways of getting inexpensive wireless broadband internet. Many mobile companies offer facilities to connect via mobile phones and one can even get broadband via satellite.

The wireless sector is booming in India. The ratio is increasing with growing literacy level. There is no doubt that India has world-class wireless networks and the other advantage is that the entire country is covered by a single standard, GSM 900, which is not the case in many other big countries worldwide. The subscriber base for cellular services is growing at a lightning speed, with 90 per cent growth
recorded last year.

The country recently had a record addition of 15.08 million wireless telephone user in August 2009 and has catapulted the total subscriber base in the country to 494.07 million, closer to the government's 2012 target.

Experts attribute the surge in wireless Web use to a combination of falling handset prices, network upgrades, and an economic expansion that's leaving many young people flush with disposable income. India's economy is growing at over nine per cent, and younger consumers, especially those working in call centers, can now afford the personal digital assistants and Research In Motion (RIMM) BlackBerrys that, as recently as a year ago, seemed out of reach to everyone but wealthy business-people and other professionals.

The challenge for providing high speed Wireless Internet Service is soaring in India. There is a greater demand for wireless Internet as people want to stay connected to the web wherever they go. The Indian wireless market is mainly dominated by the major players like Tata Indicom, BSNL, Reliance and Airtel.

Indian Magazines

Definition of a Magazine - “ Any publication with a periodicity of one week or more is a Magazine”.

Magazines are a periodical publication containing a variety of articles, generally financed by advertising and/or purchase by reader. Magazines are typically published weekly, biweekly, monthly, bimonthly or quarterly, with a date on the cover that is in advance of the date it is actually published. They are often printed in color on coated paper, and are bound with a soft cover.

IRS 2006

Most top magazines experience decline in readership Going by IRS 2006, Round 1, Hindi fortnightly magazine Saras Salil has maintained its numero uno position with a readership of 73.61 lakhs, which is quite consistent with last years IRS Round 2 figures (73.66 lakhs).

CONTENTS
*INTRODUCTION
*IRS 2006
*INDIA TODAY
*Outlook
*The Week
*Conclusion

Overall, if I have to choose any one out of four it will be The Week Magazine, though page quality is not so good as compare to others but the contents are much better than other three magazines. Also The Week is an unbiased magazine, instead of polluting mind by learning all political and industrial ideologies, it will be better to remain secular, which helps in making an atmosphere of peace and harmony in the country and leads toward development and success.

Analysis of Indian Business Magazines

I have analysed three business magazines as part of my studies. Here is the conclusion.

Definition of a Magazine - “ Any publication with a periodicity of one week or more is a Magazine”.

Business journalism – It includes coverage of companies, the workplace, personal finance, and economics, including unemployment and other economic indicators. Business coverage gained prominence in the 1990s, with wider investment in the stock market and Globalisation. All major broadsheet newspapers carry a business section to a varying degree.

1. Business Outlook – For Decision Makers
2. Business Today – For managing tomorrow
3. Business India – The magazine of the corporate world

Conclusion

If we compare the three magazines, every one is good on its position. The professional format and colour images have been used. As compare to newspapers, magazines have longer life and more readership. These magazines have completely different outlook than daily papers.

......... ............. ...............

Advertisements has more privilege to news, Business today resembles to an ad magazine.

Over all, I liked three of them but when it comes to give my own ratings and possible qualities I found in three of them, this is my conclusion:

1. Business India
2. Business Outlook
3. Business Today

media's anti-muslim propaganda

Yellow journalism is not a new term for media. It is there since long time. In a recent case, Star News exposed mufti's of madrasa's taking money for fatwa's and madrasas like DeoBand were showned under a programme called "Benaqaab". Which was done by Aniruddh Bahl. But this is nothing else than anti-muslim propaganda, the channel only did it to increase its TRP.

In the programme they showed that mufti's are giving fatwa's for money. To explain and shoot the case so it look real they used Maulana Imraan as a middle-man.

They shot many Madrasa's and came with their tampered vedio recordings.
When Muslim's saw that, they became very angry and in result, all these mufti's were banned for imamat and also suspended from their posts.

But reality is something else, all these tapes were tampered at the channels office. In the case of Mufti Habur-rahman of the Daoband now, by the grace of Allah, reality has come. The committee which was investigating the matter in Darul-uloom Deoband has come with its report. By which, all these exposing and sting operation was anti-muslim propaganda, The Mufti Habib-u-Rahman who was alleged that he gave fatwa for money. now, it is clear that he hasn't taken any money from any body, what ever fatwa he gave was also according to Islamic Law. In the Vedio it is shown that he is putting money into his bag, it was propogated that he has taken money from the Star reporter but in real the money which he put into his bag was his own, which was given to him from Deoband Library for his books. Also nowhere in the video it is showned that mufti Habib-u-Rahman is taking money into his hand from the reporter. Also in the background Voice of Azaan is coming but when the reporter met him the time was about 10:30 A.M. which is not the namaz or azaan time any where in the world. also when Mufti sahab denied to take money his voice is erased in the tape.

Now, Mufti Habb-u-Rahman has again posted on his post of Mufti, Also Maulana Imraan in his confession tape which was shown on many TV channels said, "Mufti Habib-u-Rahman is nowhere into the matter, he is a world level Mufti, a respected old person and he has not taken any amount for fatwa".

Also there is a case going on, in Srinagar (Kashmir)court, aginst Nizam-e-Qaza and Nizam-e-Ifta to band this islamic system, to loose and to make a negative effect on the case it was a complete propaganda. Now madrasa's are planning to file a case against the channel into the court.Which has tampered the image of madrasas into the eyes of common man.

But the fact, that media is anti muslim again came into the light. This report which I read in a Urdu (Inquilab) newspaper is nowhere in any other language or english media. Now what to say, isn't it yellow journalism? Today in such critical conditions, where world is sitting with neuclear weapons, is it the right path on which media is going. As a media student, we have been taught that we should be unbiased and it is the duty of Journalists, reporters, editors and publishers to give nothing else than fact and truth. Now let's pray for the time when this propaganda game will be abandoned from our so called media system.

Think over it????????????!!!!!!!!

2nd conf. mahdism iran

This is the paper which Dr. Zhaeer A. Khan submitted in the seminar.

The Doctrine of Mahdism - A Rational Scientific Point of View

Zaheer Ahmad Khan and Khan M. Asim

ALLAH created all mankind from a single pair of male and female, divided it into nations and tribes for the purpose of knowing each other. HE gave them wisdom and knowledge to distinguish between right and wrong by sending bearers of glad tidings, warners and guides as and when need was there. Starting from Adam (AS) to Hazrat Mohammed (PBUH) a large number of prophets came to this world bringing the same message of Islam. The Message of all the messengers except Hazrat Mohammed (PBUH) was subject to time and space. Who (PBUH) finally came with the clear command, “ We sent thee not but as a Mercy for all creatures”.

media war

CONCLUSION

Since Independence the press in India has vastly grown in size and circulation. But now it suffers from many ills, it has yet to identify its true post independence role. It is said, “ In Gandhian era newspaper were working for a mission and now for commission”. Now press has become a tool in the hands of big business houses, and they are using it like a revenue generating machine. They are even not looking at the decline of credibility of the news. Most of the papers today (mainly English) are just providing entertainment (food, fashion and film) news. Though regional language newspapers are giving the better news (local news) than English, and it was the main reason, why regional language newspapers took over English in recent years. Due to increasing number of edition there is a tough competition among newspapers for circulation. The big industrialists are financing huge amounts, and in result they expects more than 10 times profit.

In an interview Kumar Ketkar, Editor Loksatta said, “Journalism today is less concerned about making readers aware of critical global issues, and market forces had instrumentalised a de-education process”. Today there is a war for advertisements instead for news.

There is a couplet of Urfi Shirazi, a renowned Philosopher and Persian poet:

KHOOK BASHI, KHAK BASHI YA SAGE MURDAAR BASH,
HAR CHE BASHI, BASH URFI ANDKI ZARDAAR BASH.

(Either be a pig, lie down in the garbage or be a dead dog. Do anything, be anything but Urfi anyhow earn Money.)

The same is the thinking of Indian media owners earn money anyhow. The amount they are investing on advertising and marketing campaigns are very high, instead of investing on campaigns if they use it for charity, they can play a major role in countries development and war against poverty. Which in result will give them more readers than campaigns. The reason behind the success of Dainik Bhaskar is their local level social campaigns i.e. Pani Roko Abhiyan. They were raising common man’s voice for scarcity of water, thus People supported them. While English newspapers doesn’t played that much active role in social campaigns, to which they were expected.

In recent years 2 national level newspapers launched their Mumbai edition - the commercial capital of India. Hindustan Times, And Dainik Bhaskar launched its English daily DNA. As they came to Mumbai Times Group launched its tabloid (Mumbai Mirror) to restrict its customers. There was tough competition for capturing the market. Every day there was a marketing guy standing at the door, and the common man was fade up of all these surveys as it was disturbing his Personal life.

The only good thing with increasing number of newspaper is that they are providing employment to millions of people.

The role of press in India needs not to be that of adversary of blind support to the government. The press should be watchdog and act as a catalytic agent to hasten the process of social and economic change and thus secure people participation and involvement in the countries development.

The press today is too much obsessed with politics. The country today, needs creative reporting particularly on non-political themes such as unemployment, malnutrition, population growth etc. The emphasis shouldn’t be on what ‘wants’ but should be on what it ‘needs’. The reporting should provide adequate local coverage and human-interest story.

The Doctrine of Mahdism - A Rational Scientific Point of View

ALLAH created all mankind from a single pair of male and female, divided it into nations and tribes for the purpose of identification. HE gave them wisdom and knowledge to distinguish between right and wrong by sending Warner and Guide as and when need was there. Starting from Adam (AS) to Hazrat Mohammed (PBUH) a large number of prophets came to this world bringing the same message of Islam. The Message of all the messengers except of Hazrat Mohammed (PBUH) was subject to time and space. Who (PBUH) finally came with the clear command, “ We sent thee not but as a Mercy for all creatures”.

After the departure of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) no more prophets will come to this world and the DEEN has been completed. ALLAH as per Quranic injection has also taken the responsibility to protect it eternally. Call it Imamat or Khilafat through which Allah is going to establish peace on earth and protect the true faith, the system is there. In every century as and when need was MUJADDID and MUJTAHID have been sent. Almost all sections of Ummah except a few individuals like Ibn-e-Khuldoon do believe in the arrival of Hazrat Imam Mahdi and they also agree that Imam Mahdi will come near the Day of judgment when there will be almost total chaos and collapse of the system. The followers of other faiths are similarly awaiting for the arrival of ‘The Divinely Guided One’.

What Imam Mahdi will do? He will overhaul the system, fill the earth with justice and equity, restore true religion and usher in a short golden age lasting seven, eight or nine years before the end of the world. What a tragedy the Ummah is praying for the early arrival of Imam Mahdi! Does it want an early collapse of the system, forces of evil to flourish, the followers of the true faith to be persecuted so that Allah will have mercy on it and send Al-Mahdi? Are we not running away from our own responsibilities to spread and establish the rule and law of Allah on earth? The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has brought the complete message. He has shown us the way to follow it properly. The Prophet (PBUH) and his successors have faced the forces of evil and tyranny for the establishment of Islam on earth. They have not run away from their responsibilities by simply praying for the early arrival of Al-Mahdi. Imam Hussain (RA) and Ahlebait gave their lives for the establishment of just society based on Islam. Imam Hussain (RA) has done his duty and not left his share to Imam Mahdi. The forces of evil are again trying to create nonsense on earth and the system is collapsing. Be it carpet-bombing of a nation or the use of nuclear bombs, the only objective is to create rule of terror and disorderliness. Who has to stop it? Of course only the followers of true faith can do it. How? By uniting Ibn-e-Adam on the basis of guidelines provided in Quran and Sunnah. So instead of praying for the early arrival of Al-Mahdi let us pray for his late arrival thus getting time and opportunity to do our duty as individuals as well as nations of the world.
