McDonald's, the world’s largest restaurant chain has been sued by a Chinese lawyer for not using Chinese language on their receipt. The receipt has only English language, which violates the consumers' right to know.

However, as per reports, McDonald's quoted as saying that it was not fair to accuse the company of not using Chinese as its advertisements and menus were all in Chinese, its staff all spoke Chinese and the receipts had changed into Chinese since July.

Earlier, similar controversies forced Starbucks coffee shop situated in Beijing, to close its business after facing years of opposition.

Infact, we indians can do the same!
