Kyun na hum se ho gufutgu karte

Kyun na hum se ho gufutgu karte,

Kyun phiren hum yun justuju karte!

Chaak daaman hue hain arse sey

Ab na mausam se rang-o-bu karte

Yun na be-ja-o-be-wajah samjho

Dard uthta hai har sahu karte

Raat kat-ti hai chaand ko takte

Aur sheeshe ko ru-ba-ru karte

Sabse keh dein ke bewafa hum hain

Kyun ho hum se yeh aarzu karte

Ghair se jeet lo to hum jaanein

Ek hum ko ho bas firu karte

Sab ki sun li suni na ASIM ki

Baat hum se bhi du-ba-du karte!
