Life!

26/11, I still remember how we media persons covered it extensively... It was a nightmare.. Sounds of gun shots and grenades. The end of the battle with NSG overpowering the terrorists at Nariman House, how we all cheered it... But the worst part alongwith the news of hundred deaths was the news I covered of a 4 year kid, who was brought to J J hospital. I still remember his skull was damaged since the bullet was pumped into his head at the CST long journey station. His family was going to his native place. Salute to all the policemen and commandos who fought bravely and safeguarded us. Some are with us and some received martyrdom along with Karkare, Salaskar and Kamte sir... Some say 26/11 was planned to assassinate Karkare Sir, dunno that but if he had been around till now, he must have brought to book many white collar criminals... Those who eventually reached to the peaks... He was an honest officer. Though I just met him a few times but can feel the void his martyrdom brought to the world of honest policing and unbiased investigations..!
